Navajo artist Arland Ben is never satisfied. He is always trying to learn more about the history of Navajo silver and learning new techniques to make his pieces of wearable art. We have been lucky enough to get his work in the Trading Post and are always fascinated with his craftsmanship. This time he has brought us a bracelet that is different from anything we have had from him before. Arland talks about how difficult the process was to make this cuff, especially where he has rolled the sides back into the stone. He has used a piece of King Manassa Turquoise to decorate the almost industrial stamp design. If you collect the big names and are always looking for the unusual pieces, then you have found one.
