Nevada's Stormy Mountain Turquoise is named for its dark cloud matrix flowing across the dark blue sky color of the stone. However, this Stormy Mountain is big and the thick free from cut will remind you of Nevada's famous Battle Mountain with its high peak and look valley. These two huge 400 carat + each rocks are a perfect match and a wonderful addition to any blue rock enthusiasts' collection. Navajo silversmith Ernest Roy Begay has taken the two huge specimens and turned them into an amazing bolo and buckle set. The two Nevada rocks are surrounded by twisted wire, bead wire and square wire with a row of fabulous graduated big silver drops. Ernest places the big bolo on a thick braided cord with spectacular handmade tips that are decorated with classic stamp designs. If you like those rare pieces in your collection, you found one.
