Navajo silversmith Perry Shorty made this classic style turquoise buckle. Unique creations like this big stone buckle is what makes Perry's work so special. His name is as known as anyone in this industry, and he earned that by using the techniques his ancestors used when they first started making silver. This buckle showcases a large piece of natural Royston Turquoise that has a mix of blues with a heavy dose of brown matrix. Perry surrounds the stone with s bump out stamped border. This buckle was created from heating coin silver and then hammering that into the buckle shape. You will also find that he gives the classic Southwest design a handmade buckle back and keeper.
