Zuni artist Vera Luna specialized in this style of inlay art. If you do a google search of her work you will see some fabulous Longhorn Kachina creations. This time she displays the figure in an easy wearing ring. She uses a variety of stones to make the detailed face. A simple plain bezel border finishes the design. The style is a combination of channel and mosaic inlay techniques.
