This amazing single Nevada stone squash blossom comes out of our vintage collection and is a circa 1950s creation. The necklace is Navajo handmade and does not have an artist hallmark, which is very common for this age of silver. When you drive into Gallup, NM from the west you pass a sign declaring the area the source for Native American Art and the squash blossom is used to send that message, it is an iconic symbol of Navajo silver and stone. The amount of detail found in this piece is mind blowing. Twelve handmade sterling silver blossoms bring this classic squash blossom necklace together and add elegant character.
