Zuni carvers Pete & Dinah Gasper are today’s Leekya and Poblano. They have an amazing style and can turn any rock into a very collectible piece of art. You will find they make fascinating frogs, tadpoles, owls, turtles, birds, ducks, fish, bears, foxes, mountain lions, rams, and beaver fetishes. However, the frog could be called their signature piece and this concho belt displays several unique large bull frogs carved from Arizona turquoise. Navajo silversmith Andy Cadman took all eleven frogs and turned them into an amazing concho belt. Andy has fashioned the silver with a traditional scalloped border with two rows of stamp design. He has centered the frogs in the center of the buckle and conchos and surrounded them with smooth shiny sterling silver that will give the appearance of the frogs slightly above water. This is an incredible piece that will look fascinating on, be admired by all who see it, and like all great pieces of art will only appreciate in value.
