This belt comes out of our dead pawn collection and is a circa 1960s piece. Navajo silversmith Herbert Morgan is the father to the late Harry Morgan. Herbert was a Navajo Code Talker and jewelry maker. This belt has that wonderful aged look and the silver work is very traditional. You will find the back of the buckle and conchos filled with hammering marks, creating a great look. The belt has one large rectangle shaped buckle and 10 oval shaped conchos. An excellent piece of collectible Navajo handmade art.
