Navajo silversmith Floyd Becenti uses his culture to inspire his unique style of storytelling stamp art. This belt comes out of our dead pawn collection. The buckle has Floyd’s hallmark and has the year 1993 etched into it. This belt tells the story of the healing ceremony where the patient sits alone and the Yei’ be’ Chi’ chant and dance during the night. You will see the beautiful Mesas of Navajo Land scattered throughout the silver. The belt consists of 10 pieces. It appears the belt was not worn, and one last thing the weight will amaze you, one not seen often with todays high metal prices.
