Ruddell came in the Trading Post one day with a pin/pendant made in this same style. Perry asked for a belt made with different stones, almost one year later and Perry had his Inter-Tribal Ceremonial prize winning piece. Ruddell has made the stunning mosaic inlaid bears with several different stones that include turquoise, coral, gaspeite, and lapis. Each piece has a southwest design around the edges and more inlay decoration around the bear. Pieces like this are great for the collection because artists like Nancy & Ruddell only make these types of large pieces when they have an order, giving you an authentic piece of Zuni art that no else has. All of the stones in the belt are natural and all twelve pieces are made from a great gauge of silver that gives the belt a solid feel. This is an incredible piece.
