Navajo artist Michael Perry has gone as far as studying under Jesse Monongye. This cuff is filled with those influences, from the powerful Monongye bear claw to the lapidary work. Michael sets a stunning piece of water webbed Kingman Turquoise in the center. The large free form shaped cut fits perfectly in the center and is striking against the mirror shine of the silver. A row of inlaid Mediterranean Coral and turquoise are inlaid down one side of the bracelet with a Native inspired overlay design bordering them. You will find the Hopi influence over many contemporary Navajo artists, especially when inlay and overlay is involved.
