You had a network of Navajo artists who either lived in Zuni or had developed a relationship with one of the Traders there to make silver. Many early pieces that showcase amazing Zuni stonework sit in Navajo silver. This bracelet is one of those fabulous creations. Three turquoise carved Leekya Deyuse are set across the top. Two stones are hard to tell what legendary Nevada mine the rocks came from, but one is an absolute Number Eight Turquoise gem, which makes you believe all three came from there. Navajo silversmith John Hoxie surrounds the carved nuggets with scalloped stamped bezel and uses a eye appealing twisted wire edge. This bracelet is a collectible circa 1940s work that is ready to be worn.
