I don't know what influences or inspires the creations of Navajo artist Hank Whitethorne, but whatever it is it creates some of the most unique Native American art you will ever see. This bracelet begins with a piece of Arizona's famous Bisbee Turquoise. Hank surrounds the stone with a repeating circular design that is made using overlay techniques, and around the edges he fills it with colorful inlaid rocks. He continues that multi-stone them unto the cuff which starts to make you believe water is a theme of the cuff. You will find blue lapis, Mediterranean Coral, sugilite, pipestone and turquoise. The stones fill a hollow sterling silver construction that creates even more unique character. If you like pieces of unique art make sure you check out the other works by Hank Whitethorne on the online Trading Post.
