Navajo silversmith Freddie Maloney made this unique Navajo and Zuni collaboration cuff. He has taken a Kingman Turquoise inlay Zuni Knifewing and surrounded it with old time style Navajo silver. Zuni lapidary artist Betty Natachu did the inlay piece. She has used a combination of turquoise, jet, and shell to make the piece, just like she did when making inlay Knifewings, Thunderbird, and Rainbow Man for Leonard Martza silver. Freddie used a three-wire bracelet shank that is decorated with twist wire, silver drops, wire work, and stamped cutouts that has an appropriate antique finish. We have gotten a few of these wonderful combination Zuni/Navajo pieces from Freddie and Betty. If you are wanting to see more of this great style let us know. This combination looks great in earrings, rings, belts, and concho belts, maybe think about a set.
