Description : This necklace comes out of a private collection and is an accumulation of family necklaces. The piece is several different necklaces that have been collected over a period of time. You will find some fascinating and interesting things strung on the coral beads like a Zuni needlepoint earring, baboon head, charms, two old frog fetishes, old buttons, pocket knife pendant, and some clear shiny crystal like beads. Plus some great old pieces of American turquoise that has been strung along with the red and orange coral necklaces. Hanging from the necklaces are six pair of jaclas (earrings) that are all made from quality turquoise and the kind you only find on the old good necklaces. All of the jaclas and coral beads have been restrung, restrung, restrung, and restrung so it brings all of the coral beads together and the same for the hanging jacla. Perry purchased the necklace from a family that told the story of this being put together over decades. You will find a total of 22 strands of coral and six pair of jaclas, truly a Navajo treasure.
