It all began with Tobe Sr. who came from Texas at a young age to the Navajo Reservation to begin his trading career. He worked the Trading Post when it was more of store to the Navajo People. By the time Tobe Jr. began his full-time trading career the Trading Post had turned more to a place tourists would visit for authentic art. That began a time when Tobe Jr. started putting together a great collection of American rocks. When Perry Null purchased the Trading Post many old time favorite stones came with it. This is one of those, old Number Eight blue and black spider web. Navajo silversmith Calvin Martinez has set the stone in a shadow box setting that is surrounding with a radiating Sun stamp design. Finished with an easy wearing split ring band this is one that will be on your finger often. Another great piece of handmade silver and stone by one of the best.
