Calvin Martinez-Spectacular Kingman Turquoise Buckle

Navajo silversmith Calvin Martinez made this fabulous silver and stone buckle. When you first pick this piece up you become completely aware of the weight. This is a solid piece, over 3 ounces of sterling silver. Calvin uses a piece of Kingman Turquoise that is filled with Arizona character. The rock has fabulous shades of blue, colors that give the American stone great Southwest character, and is filled with a heavy dose of dark brown and water web matrix. You will find the stone sits above the silver for a very classic big turquoise look. Calvin uses a wrapped stamped design around the stone and a heavy traditional styled border. You are going to need to be in shape when wearing this piece, and we recommend a heavy genuine leather belt, a thick one that can hold an excellent piece of silver and stone made by one of the masters.
