Calvin Desson-Crow Indian Buckle-Medicine Wheel Design

Navajo silversmith Calvin Desson made this spectacular inlay buckle. The inside of the buckle has a revolving piece that is decorated with inlay on each side. You will find a inlaid teepee with a night sky filling the background with a turquoise ground. When you turn the center you will find a medicine wheel inspired design that is made up of four different rocks. The buckle has a Crow Indian face that is fabulously done with a painted face and a horse on the other end. Each figure has a night sky filled with planets, stars, and flying crows in the background. Calvin has given the story teller inlay piece a very nice heavy silver border that is finished with a polished shine. A great size that can be an everyday piece or work perfectly dressed-up.
