Navajo artist Calvin Desson makes incredible pieces of inlay art. This bolo is beautifully crafted using blue Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, blue lapis, denim, lapis, Fox Turquoise, variscite, and purple sugilite. Look closely, the Apache Warrior face is two, one looking right at you the other to the left. It is a stunning puzzle of inlay that is surrounded by a heavy mirror shined border. Also, Calvin has added gorgeous tips that have the face done in overlay silver, combining a mirror shine and oxidized background. The cord is a heavy ply braided leather piece, an appropriate piece for the show piece. This is a very impressive piece that demonstrates the amazing talent of Calvin, something you are going to definitely want in your lapidary Native American collection.
