Someone had brought into the Trading Post a book from the Heard Museum that had pictures of shell inlay work by Leekya Deyuse. It is something you do not see much of anymore and that is too bad. Zuni artist Bobby Concho made this fascinating piece of art. He has decorated an appaloosa horse into a beautiful white shell. The horse is made with shell and turquoise stones. Bobby has set the inlaid shell in a simple silver bezel and turned it into a bolo. This is a great collectible piece and you will not believe how good it will look on, so throw away that boring neck tie and live a little, Southwest style.
