The Zuni & Hopi have been trading for centuries, long before any European showed up. They share many similarities in their ceremonial rituals and culture. Both of these Pueblo Tribes are surrounded by the Navajo People and all are familiar with each other. Zuni artist Andrea Lonjose made this fascinating pin/pendant that celebrates Ceremonial Figures. She is married to a Navajo and will create her work using Zuni, Navajo, and Hopi dancers. We have put a collection of her work together, a perfect piece of handmade art to collect. Andrea was taught the art of channel inlay by Shirley Benn and that influence is reflected in her work. Each of her Kachina pieces are fascinating and something you will treasure forever.
