Antique Collection-Zuni Inlay Knifewing Necklace w/ERs

This Zuni necklace and earring set is a circa 1940s collection. The pieces do not have an artist hallmark, which is common for this time period. We attribute the work to Lambert Homer. Each piece is very clean inlay using classic white, black, red, and turquoise colors. The Knifewing is a mystical Zuni figure associated with many legends. You will find the inlay surrounded by hammered flat twist wire, silver drops, and wire work. On the pendant a handmade chain has been used to display the Knifewing, the original chain. You might be most amazed by the small earrings that show wonderful detail. Old Zuni inlay work is fabulous and the jewel of any serious collection.
