Andrea Lonjose-Spectacular Butterfly Inlay Set-WOW

Zuni artist Andrea Lonjose is well known for her incredible detailed inlaid Kachina pins. However, that is not all she makes. This very talented Zuni artist made this magnificent butterfly inlay jewelry set. She has used the techniques taught to her by Shirley Benn and transformed these figures of stone into come to life gorgeous Butterflies. You will find the colorful creatures made from a variety of stones that include shells, coral, jet, malachite, and turquoise stones. All of them have been inlaid in a classic Zuni channel inlay style, and you will notice all of the stones have been etched giving each butterfly fun and gorgeous character. The necklace is made with nine butterfly pieces, all strung on sterling silver beads. Andrea made a perfectly matching ring and bracelet pair. This is the first set we have ever purchased from Andrea, and we hope to get more. These sets are fabulous.
