Aaron Anderson – Corn Harvest Bracelet – Tufa Cast Art
Product Description
Details
Towards the end of May you should take a drive across the Navajo Reservation or to Zuni. That is the time of year that the planting begins in the cornfields. When the end of summer comes you will see these gorgeous fields around the Four Corners all with that deep green against the dark brown desert backdrops. Traditionally those fields were important to the survival of the People. Navajo artist Aaron Anderson celebrates that tradition in this Corn Harvest cuff. He has a corn sprouting from the rich turquoise land and surrounded by the deep red sun of the Four Corners. Look closely, those are 14k gold kernels. On the end of the cuff you will find a carved corn plant against the rough texture of the tufa carving. Show your appreciation of Native American culture with this bracelet.
