Aaron & Norbert Peshlakai-Collaboration Cowboy Mug-Lid

Legendary Navajo artist Norbert Peshlakai has taught both his children the art of metal making. He worked with his son Aaron to make this cup with a lid. Aaron is a fulltime student and works on silver as a part time job, creating quit a frenzy for those collectors who want pieces of his innovative work. The lid is unusual and you don’t think of a cup having one, but it really works for this piece. A long handle has been built up on the lid and at the top a piece of very interesting fossilized dinosaur stone that has a crystallized look with maroon streaks of bone running through it. Below the lid the cup has been stamped with a centered cowboy figure, which is appropriate, I can picture an old time cowboy drinking from this cup.
