Every year Gallup hosts the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial and one of the most popular events is the art exhibit. 2010 displayed work by some of the best, including Raymond Yazzie, Edith Tsabetsaye, Darryl Dean Begay (2009 Santa Fe Indian Market Best of Show winner), Linda Tofya, Charlie Pratt, and the list goes on and on. Now legendary artists Robert & Bernice Leekya have decided to design their own. They begin with a big thick branch of deep red coral with two tips inlaid with turquoise. Surrounding the branch are big Sleeping Beauty Turquoise rocks, large silver drips, and a stamped silver leaf style base. You will be amazed by the amount of stone and how this piece comes together so beautifully. It has been placed on a heavy braided leather bolo strap and finished with long sterling silver tips.
